Abstract

A partire da un’impostazione di filosofia politica e di teoria sociale, il saggio mira a mettere in luce l’interazione e la differenza esistente fra il concetto di menzogna politica e la nozione di ipocrisia democratica, passando attraverso le determinazioni di inganno e di autoinganno. L’intento consta nel far emergere quegli impliciti elementi normativi che - presenti in forma di ricerca di una verità dialogica controfattuale – sono in grado di elucidare nel dibattito civico contenuti menzogneri e rappresentazioni ipocrite. Tale processo riflessivo mira altresì a far affiorare ex negativo pretese immanenti di giustizia sociale e di fiducia che soggetti e gruppi di cittadini attivi rivolgono a istituzioni rappresentative, anche a nome degli offesi e delle vittime.

Abstract (english)

The paper – based on a political and social philosophical approach - aims at highlighting the existing interaction and the difference on the one hand between the concept of political lie and the notion of democratic hypocrisy, and on the other between the determinations of deception and self-deception. The paper is interested in stressing those implicit normative elements, which are present in the public sphere in the form of a search for a counterfactual dialogic truth and are able to elucidate in the civic debate lying contents and hypocritical representations. This reflexive process is intended to bring out, ex negativo, those immanent claims of social justice and trust that individuals and groups of active citizens address to members of representative institutions, also on behalf of offended human beings and victims.
