G. Venturelli, La relazione etica. Debito, reciprocità e responsabilità nella riflessione filosofica contemporanea

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to reflect upon the ethical experience, here analyzed from the concept of debt as recognition of a responsibility that bind the subject to the other. In this perspective, the concepts of the moral good and evil are inherently relational, and the ethical action comes from the condition of a moral obligation. I analyze passages from Ricoeur, Lévinas, Arendt, Williams. They all have in common the idea of the ethical dimension as inherently relational, inseparable from the concepts of debt (thought as moral obligation), forgiveness and promise.
