l. Nidasio, La ripresa della filosofia pratica antica nel pensiero di Hans Georg Gadamer. La razionalità ermeneutica come forma di responsabilità etica

Abstract

Il presente contributo intende analizzare il pensiero etico di Hans-Georg Gadamer il quale presenta, a nostro avviso, numerosi aspetti in comune con l’etica antica, in particolare con quella platonica ed aristotelica. Il concetto di “razionalità ermeneutica”, che costituisce la base su cui prende avvio la riflessione gadameriana, presenta molti punti in comune con il “sapere pratico” tipico dell’etica antica: parte del presente scritto sarà quindi riservato ad una riflessione sulla phronesis e sulla responsabilità che sempre consegue alla possibilità di compiere una scelta consapevole. Dopo aver analizzato questo aspetto suggeriremo, in una fase conclusiva del lavoro, l’attualità e l’applicabilità della proposta gadameriana nel contesto multiculturale contemporaneo.

Abstract (english)

This paper intends to analyse the Hans-Georg Gadamer’s ethic thought that shares, in our opinion, some traits with the Ancient Greek Ethics, especially with the Platonic and the Aristotelian ethics. The idea of the “hermeneutic rationality”, that is the base of Gadamer’s reflection shares many qualities with the “practical knowledge” that characterizes the Ancient Ethics: we’ll propose a reflection around the phronesis and the responsibility that ensues every conscious choice. After analysing this prospective we will prompt, in the final part of this paper, the modernity and the applicability of the Gadmerian thought in the contemporary multicultural context.
